Daily and weekly support
When you join the South Georgia Transitional Living Center, you’re stepping into a supportive environment designed to help you build independence at a realistic pace. You're not expected to have everything figured out when you arrive; our program is built to help you learn, practice, and gain confidence over time, so you leave prepared for stable, independent living.
Weekly support
Expect one-on-one case management to help you set goals, solve problems, and stay on track. You’ll receive life-skills training focused on real-world skills like budgeting, responsibility, and daily routines. We provide support with employment or education, including job planning or school/training goals, and clear housing transition planning to prepare you for what comes next.
Daily guidance
Day-to-day, you’ll have a safe, stable place to live with structure and expectations. We offer guidance and accountability to help you build independence, along with transportation support for work, school, or required appointments. Our supportive environment emphasizes growth, consistency, and progress in your journey toward self-sufficiency.
Your journey
Our program is designed for a 6- to 12-month stay, offering consistent support. We help you learn, practice, and build confidence over time, ensuring you are fully prepared to live independently and move forward with stability when you complete the program.

You’ll gain experience budgeting, setting savings goals, and managing money responsibly. This prepares you to handle bills and daily expenses, empowering you with crucial financial literacy for independent living.
Strong life skills
Through structured life-skills training, you’ll build routines, responsibility, and problem-solving skills needed for everyday adult life. These practical skills are essential for navigating the challenges and opportunities of independence.
